A cooperative design project between Intercon and VASA, DIP219 is a property located at a stone’s throw from the University of Barcelona at the heart of the city with 5 residential units. Born as an office ground, it have been converted into a residential unit, developed on 1.800 square meters, successively divided into 5 residential units plus a commercial one. Here we are glad to show you the interior design project VASA created for the top residential unit: the main mood-board collects contrasting but simple and light colours, in order to create a minimalist but warming atmosphere, exalting the beauty of the mixed cityscape and landscape surrounding the property, appearing from the wide windows. The large use of the white colour gives a constant feeling of freshness, contrasting the roughness of the raw wooden floor, dark and sensual at touch.

The furniture is, of course, the main feature of the house: pieces coming from our best made in Italy brands, carefully selected to enhance every corner of the home, transforming it into an useful or relaxing place. Sofas, chaise longues and armchairs appear here and there as small living and relaxing areas everywhere in the home, while the bedrooms, all equipped with private bathrooms and walk-in closets, are decorated with soft and fine materials inspiring a feeling of warmth and intimacy. The kitchen, designed to go beyond the standard scheme of a simple and handy cooking place, it does is a convivial place, developed around a central insula.

The terrace, one of the key features of the property, is not only extremely remarkable for its marvellous view, but also for the furnished areas we studied there: a elegant but casual dining area and a relax area, equipped with a minima pair of pool cots. Why such a lounge seats? Well, what we should have put nearby an incredibly rooftop-mounted, incredibly blue-watered pool ?
